Objective

To work in a challenging full-time position in live production where my experiences and interests will contribute to the organizational, operational, and creative environment of a professional theater and or production. Put simply, I wish to build worlds and spark imagination on a daily basis.

Work Experience
CIRQUE DU SOLEIL - Las Vegas, Nevada 

RSD Rotational / Show Automation Technician ​- September 2021 to Present

  • Full-time maintenance & support technician for Las Vegas resident shows including: "The Beatles LOVE", 'O', "Micheal Jackson ONE", and "KA".

  • Responsibilities consist of completing weekly, monthly, and annual inspections; as well as repairing and upgrading equipment as needed. 

  • Automation console operator for day-time rehearsals and night-time shows.  

  • Maintain inventory for Nomad consoles and spare parts across all Cirque du Soleil resident shows.

IL SCHOOL DISTRICT 158 PERFORMING ARTS CENTER - Huntley, IL

Technical Director ​- January 2014 to September 2014 / July 2015 to September 2021

  • Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and upkeep for a 619 seat theater.  

  • Design, purchase, and install lighting, audio, video, and rigging systems. Including the addition of the 110-seat Blackbox Theater. (2019)

  • Oversees full-time Assistant Technical Director.

  • Implemented and Responsible for Online and Box Office Ticketing System.

  • Manages a $95,000 equipment and maintenance budget.

  • Total of 458 rehearsals, musicals, plays, meetings, events, etc on average per year.

  • 7 - 9 plus Main-Stage productions a year. (Design, Construction, Technical Direction) 

THE WOODSTOCK OPERA HOUSE - Woodstock, Illinois
Production Assistant - September 2014 to July 2015
  • Ensure proper operation and safety of audio, lighting, and rigging systems for both local and outside personnel. 

  • Provide sound reinforcement, lighting design/operation, and special effect per request of the client. 

  • Work with Technical Director to lead “Load In” and “Strike” of touring events.

VER- Video Equipment Rentals - Orlando, Florida

Assistant Video Projectionist - January 2013 to March 2013​

  • Maintenance and repair of video projectors. (Including Christie, Barco, Panasonic, etc)

  • Responsible for documentation and organization of video projection equipment.
